A fresh start for spring!!

Well hmmm over a year betwixx posts I'm shamefaced :(

To cut a very long and boring story short my health has been rubbish for a good old while , tiredness , inability to concentrate , weight gain blahh blahh until it got so bad just after Christmas that I was feeling permanently dizzy .
Off to the docs and it seems my thyroid was on its last legs and has been failing for a good long while :(
So I'm on medication and everything is getting slowly back to normal.

In the midst of feeling rubbish the jewellery took a back seat and I rediscovered knitting to help me concentrate and yess another obsession is born for all things fibre.

I have been dying pure new wool knitting bags then felting them.

And I broke out the polymer clay for the first time in I cant remember when and got some buttons made for all my knitted stuff.

All this creating has prompted me to get my website sorted , I have moved the hosting and given it a new look.

So I'm feeling better,spring has sprung just need to shift the weight now :( but my general mojo seems to be returning

Hi soooooo sorry it has been so long since my last post but I do have lots to show

We have had a fall polymer clay challenge on my favourite forum http://www.cageycrafters.com/

It has been a great Kick start for my mojo which went on holiday for the summer!!

Here is my entry

The hills and moors around me are filled with heather and the bracken is turning gold at the moment, this inspired these polymer beads

All very simply put together on memory wire with rubber cording, fire polished beads , crystals and silver beads for a easy to wear bracelet.

So with that done the fall theme got me going so I came up with quite a few other pieces

Polymer cane slices wrapped around a glass cab from my good mate Emma Green http://www.greenbeadenvy.co.uk/

Necklace with poly disks created with easy metal rolled onto the clay , strung together with copper beads and brown rubber cording

The same disks strung as a bracelet with copper beads and clasp

I have some other things in the pipeline so I promise it wont be another month before I post again !!Promise LOL

Hey folks isn't it nice to see some sun for a change!!
No jewellery to show today iam afraid I will try and get some new items posted next week.
I also haven't got the missing earrings sorted yet , I know slap hands but I have been messing with my web template again web sites are never finished I have decided lol .
We had a great day out in Pateley Bridge yesterday for my birthday weekend.

We spent an hour watching Andrew Sanders and David Wallace create some amazing blown glass pieces please have a look at there site.

My hubby bought me one of there amazing vases for my birthday and when my camera is charged up I will take a pic for you.

Missing earings!!!

Hey folks I hope everyone is well.

I have some bits to put on the site this weekend including some earrings, yep I know I have been slack in that section but I was having problems getting decent pics of my new ones.

I still not 100% happy with the pic but I couldn't leave the section empty much longer so here's a peak at the new ones.

I feel like doing some poly work this weekend , exactly what I am not sure yet but I will keep you updated.

Hi everyone I hope you are all well?

It seems I have a new obsession , precious metal clay !!

I managed to do a class at the weekend totally at the last minute and loved it.

Here's my first attempt at P.M.C a silver pendant with a peridot CZ stone.

Many thanks to Mary from http://www.somata.co.uk/ who ran the class in Leeds , it was a great day and I'm glad I had chance to do the class.

So expect to see more silver items in the coming weeks.

I'm just getting to the home straight now on my new website I have decided rightly or wrongly to build my own site from the ground up instead of using the Mr site editor , phew what a job.

I also have quite a bit of new stock.

Hi folks just thought I would pop in a small post while hubby watches the football (wake me when its done snooozzeeee).

I received a new toy yesterday in the form of a new Makins clay extruder , yipeeeeee this means no more strain on the hands trying to squeeze out a tiny amount of poly clay.

I am going to have a go at a quilt cane that I have been looking at and the extruder will help it along no end.

So short and sweet have a great weekend.

So sorry it has been so long ,to be honest I don't know where the time goes.

I have been getting ready for a few evening events and neglecting my online stuff so sooo sorry again.

I have been making plenty of polymer beads and have had loads of fun playing with inks and pastels combined with translucent clay.

Here's a set in warm orange and pink shades.

I like the effect this gives so I think I will have a go with some in cooler colours today.

That really is about it for now , I am planning a big website reshuffle so just in the process of taking more pictures of my jewellery but boy its hard to get good shots.

Hi folks well busy week for me, I promised some pics of new stuff so here we go.

A splash of citrus.

My own fresh orange polymer twist beads combined with
white and green glitter polymer beads + Crystal's and spectra glass beads.

she stocks a great selection of polymer clay supplies as well as selling her own Lampwork Glass and polymer art beads.

This necklace is a dream in ivory and turquoise.

Art beads by my good friend Emma Green set off by sterling silver tubes and turquoise crystals.

So just a taster of what I have been working on the past few days.

Apparently we are in for the hottest day of the year so far in the U.K tomorrow ,yippee .

Hi all and welcome to hebble creations news :)
I will use this blog to ramble on and keep you updated on the jewellery and polymer side of my life.
I have some great polymer beads waiting to be made into jewellery and some finished pieces waiting to be photographed ,all in yummy spring colours I will get some pics done in a couple of days.
